'Glasure Seal' Sealed Units

- Manufactured Right Here in Regina -

What is a sealed unit?

A sealed unit is the glass or glazing part of a window which sits inside the frame. The sealed units consists of two or three panes of glass, separated by a vacuum or gas-filled pocket of air that helps with insulation and reduces heat transfer.

Sealed units are designed to keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They let the light in, while proving you a clear view, and saving your furnace and air conditioner from putting in overtime!

Windows beginning to look foggy? Condensated?

Over time, the seals on window units will deteriorate, causing condensation to form in between the panes. If it’s been doing this for a while, the water will stain the glass, causing a hazy or foggy look to your windows. We custom make sealed units of all sizes, thickness’s, and glass styles! We feature our in house ‘Glasure Seal’, to keep your view clear. Our units are available with Low-E treated glass, patterned or tinted glass, internal grill inserts, with dual or triple paned options. You can be rest assured we will be able to restore the look of your glass to it’s original form.

Benefits of Dealing with Glacier?

One of the many benefits of dealing with Glacier is that we are able to whip up sealed units as needed, and are able to replace the glass in your home without having to wait weeks or months from the window manufacturer. This is extremely beneficial to the customer because having a damaged sealed unit compromises the integrity of the window. In more simple terms, it doesn’t allow the window to do its job properly. We replace units in all window makes and brands!
